How I Built a Thriving Coaching Business at 20 and How You Can Turn from Dreamer to Doer!
“I’m not supposed to be here.” That’s what I used to tell myself. Just a few years ago, I was like many of you—filled with big dreams but unsure if they could ever become a reality. Fast forward to today, and I’m running a thriving coaching business that brings in over $15,000 a month. From being a dreamer to doer!
But this isn’t just my story. It’s a blueprint for anyone who’s ready to stop dreaming and start doing.
The Unlikely Start of a Young Entrepreneur
When I first started, I didn’t have a roadmap. I was young, inexperienced, and, if I’m being honest, a bit scared. But one thing I did have was a relentless drive to succeed. Late nights became normal, early mornings were routine, and every free moment was dedicated to learning everything I could about business, coaching, and personal development.
Looking back, I realize that my biggest asset wasn’t just hard work—it was my mindset not enough that you’re a dreamer but you should be doer too. I knew that if I didn’t believe in myself, no one else would either. That belief, that confidence, didn’t come overnight. It was built through every small win, every lesson learned from failure, and every piece of advice I took to heart.
Here’s something most people won’t tell you about entrepreneurship: it’s not glamorous. Behind every success story, there are countless hours of grinding it out. There are moments of doubt, where you wonder if all the effort is worth it. There are sacrifices—time with friends, missed events, and the constant pressure to perform.
But here’s the thing. Every hour I poured into my business, every late-night brainstorming session, every moment of doubt—they were all worth it. Because now, I’m not just building a business; I’m building a life. And the best part? I’m helping others do the same.
Age Doesn’t Define Your Potential
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that age is just a number. Your potential isn’t defined by how many years you’ve been on this planet, but by how fiercely you chase after what you want. Whether you’re 20, 30, 40, or beyond, the only thing standing between you and your dreams is the story you’re telling yourself. You can always start from being a dreamer to doer.
Too often, we let our age, our circumstances, or our doubts hold us back. We think we’re too young, too old, too inexperienced. But the truth is, these are just excuses. They’re the barriers we create in our own minds to keep ourselves from stepping into our full potential.
The Hustle: Turning Passion into Profit
When I say “hustle,” I don’t mean just working hard. I mean working smart. It’s about identifying what you’re passionate about and finding a way to turn that passion into profit. For me, it was coaching. I knew I had a gift for helping people tap into their potential and achieve their goals. But turning that gift into a thriving business required more than just talent—it required strategy.
I immersed myself in learning—taking courses, reading books, and soaking up knowledge from mentors and experts in the field. I didn’t just want to be good; I wanted to be the best. And that meant constantly pushing myself to grow, evolve, and adapt.
The Power of Mindset: Believe It, Achieve It
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is the power of mindset. Your thoughts shape your reality. If you believe you can achieve something, you will. If you doubt yourself, that doubt will manifest in your actions and your results.
When I first started my business, I didn’t have everything figured out. But I believed in my ability to learn, to grow, and to succeed. That belief was the foundation of everything I’ve built. It’s what kept me going when things got tough, and it’s what continues to drive me forward.
What’s been most rewarding about this journey isn’t the financial success—it’s the impact I’ve had on others. Seeing my clients, many of whom are young professionals like you, achieve their goals and crush their dreams is what makes all the late nights and early mornings worth it. It’s a ripple effect—when you help one person step into their potential, you’re not just changing their life; you’re changing the lives of everyone they touch.
Your Turn: Make Your Dreams a Reality
If I can do it, so can you. You don’t need to have everything figured out or wait for the “right time.” You just need to start. Start with what you have, where you are, and trust that the path will unfold as you go.
What are your biggest dreams? What’s holding you back from making them a reality? I want you to know that it’s possible. Not just for me, but for you too. You have the power to create the life you want—one step, one decision, one action at a time.
I’m not here to brag, but to inspire. If a 20-year-old can build a thriving coaching business, imagine what you can do. It’s not about age, experience, or luck. It’s about mindset, hustle, and an unwavering belief in yourself.
So, what’s your next move? What’s that one step you can take today to get closer to your dreams? Let’s make it happen. Together, we can turn your biggest dreams into your reality. The only question left is: are you ready to take the leap?

First off I want to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was curious to know how you center yourself and clear your head before writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my thoughts in getting my thoughts out there. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any recommendations or hints? Thank you!
Writer’s block is a big problem for many writers. I have it too. To fix it, I do a few things. First, I write Morning Pages. This is like emptying my mind. It helps me think clearly. Second, I walk in nature. Seeing, hearing, and smelling nature helps me relax. Everyone writes differently. What works for me might not work for you. Try different things to find what helps you write better. Go out and find your own way to feel good and write well.
